PWNSAT is short for Physics Wallah National Scholarship cum Admission Test. It is a national-level scholarship exam run by Physics Wallah for school students across India, linked to admission into PW courses for the next academic session. Students sit it to see where they stand, compete at a national level, and qualify for scholarships and other benefits.
The 2026 exam
Level 1 of PWNSAT 2026 was open to students from Class 5 to Class 12, plus droppers, subject to the eligibility rules of each course. The paper ran for 60 minutes with single-correct-answer questions: +4 marks for every correct answer and no negative marking. You could take it online, daily from 1 to 15 October 2026 inside a 24-hour window, or offline at Vidyapeeth centres on 3, 4, 10 and 11 October 2026. Registration was free, and you picked your date, time slot and centre while registering.
PWNSAT result 2026
Physics Wallah declared the Level 1 result on 25 October 2026. To check yours, sign in on the official PW website with the mobile number you registered with and open your scorecard. Keep a downloaded or printed copy — you will need it during counselling and admission at the PW centre. If your scorecard does not load, wait a bit and try again outside peak hours, and double-check you are using the same mobile number as your registration.
What happens after the result
Your score decides your scholarship and whether you move ahead. Top performers go forward to Level 2, called PWNSAT Prodigy, which is linked to cash rewards and extra benefits. Scholarships are awarded on merit, up to 100% on eligible courses under the brochure terms, from an advertised scholarship pool of Rs 250 crore with terms and conditions attached. The exact scholarship on your course depends on your score and the course you join.
Who should sit PWNSAT
The test suits JEE, NEET and foundation students who want a realistic rehearsal before boards and entrance exams — a real exam hall feel, national competition, and a clear read on strong and weak topics while there is still time to fix them.
